Newport Modern

This is about as wild as they get! It’s made of Burl walnut and walnut root and has been leveled flat with acrylic and has an odd ‘Lava’ effect on the interior, a very sheik table! It measures 52″ by 40″ wide and 15″ tall and is in spectacular condition, with just some light surface scratches to the acrylic top, which can be easily buffed out with some wax.

Here’s a truly awesome coffee table! Made by Lane Furniture Co. in the late 1950’s, the boomerang is one of the most stylistically important forms of Mid-Century Modern design and this table captures it to the finest! Made of walnut with nine burl squares inset, it has a terrific look and would be awesome with a sectional sofa!

This is a fantastic Vintage Danish Modern Coffee or Side Table, with a beautiful travertine slab on top of the teak wood base, all in very nice condition! It measures 28″ in diameter and 20″ tall.

Here’s a stunning PAIR of Edward Wormley for Dunbar Tables, that can either be used independently as lamp tables or placed together to make a fantastic coffee table! You’ll notice that one side of each is slightly longer, fantastic forethought from a fantastic mid-century designer! They measure just shy of 28″ square and 22 1/2″ tall, each, and are in very good condition, with a couple dings to each one and some edge wear, but overall very nice for the age.

You are not going to find a cooler Mid-Century Danish Modern Coffee Table than this Ameoba shaped Teak & Glass one! It’s in fantastic condition with it’s original glass and just looks amazing! This is priced well below previous auction results as well, so it is sure to sell quickly! It measures 57″ long and 39″ wide at its widest point with a height of just 16″, a perfect coffee table for your danish or mid-century home!

This set is absolutely priced to sell at only $225 for the coffee table and end table! The marble is in a surfboard form and is signed Italy on the bottom, with the solid walnut bases all in great condition! The coffee table measures 54″ long, 19 1/2″ wide and 15″ tall, the end table is 28″ deep, 22″ tall to the top tier (15″ to the marble) and 23″ wide.

If you’re in the market for a Danish Modern Coffee Table, you have to come and take a look at this beautiful one by the design firm France & Daverkossen, produced for John Stuart in New York during the 1960’s. Fully signed on the bottom, it measures 58 3/4″ long, 20 1/2″ wide and 16 1/2″ tall and is in great condition as you can see!

Wow! This is a fantastic little set of Heywood Wakefield! It includes two end tables, each with a drawer, which is very rare for Wakefield! They are signed Champagne, but were clearly stained Sable to match the other Sable wakefield the homeowner had, very good condition! They measure 30″ by 18″ wide and 22″ tall to the top tier, signed M-794-G. Also available is the M-905 Cocktail Coffee Table with drawer for $375 in the same picture!

Russel Wright is always a great addition to a mid-century home, this is a nice table from his American Modern line by Conant Ball and is in great condition! It measures 28″ in diameter and 16″ tall.

I’ve had many many many Lane tables in the store, but this one is absolutely the best so far! It’s a cube basically with a smoked glass top and an AMAZING look! It measures 28 3/4″ square and 20″ tall, in great condition with no damage to report! It is signed Lane on the bottom.

Okay if you’re looking for a huge coffee table that you’re pretty sure your friends have never seen anything like, this might be something to add to your short list! It measures 6′ long, 2′ wide and 14″ tall. It a tan formica top that sits on 4 tapered peg legs (they don’t have any method of securing it, they literally just plug into the top) and it is a bit on the wobbly side, so if you intend on using it often I do recommend suring it up a little. Aside from that, this is still just an awesome looking piece!

Well you don’t get much more Mid-Century Modern than this! A kidney shaped coffee table/rolling bar! It has a mahogany finish and was made by the A.M. Stock company of Wisconsin, called the “Grand Server”. The top swivels to reveal storage for some bottles, a very cool design! It measures 22″ tall and 55″ long and is in good condition, but does have one spot on the side where the finish is cracked, not distracting though.

Here’s a really nice and unique little coffee / tea table! It has 6 stools that fit under the table for easy storage and beautiful applied decoration as you can see! It comes with a large piece of glass covering the table, which is slightly too large for it, but will work if you don’t choose to have a more perfectly sized glass cut for it. It measures 46″ wide, 29″ deep and 20″ tall.

Here’s another great piece of Heywood Wakefield! A Lazy Susan Coffee Table, the entire coffee table top spins! It’s in great condition, with a couple minor surface scratches, but very minimal wear overall. It measures 32″ in diameter and 15 1/2″ tall. Just $275!

Here’s a really cool and unique 1950’s MCM or Danish Modern Tiletop Mosaic Bench/Table! It’s in great condition as you can see with no broken tiles or anything, measuring 47″ long, 13 1/2″ wide and 18 1/2″ tall, sitting on nice tapered wooden legs.
